Short and sweet, or 1500 plus words

Short and sweet, or 1500 plus words. If you read my blog pics with words, or words with pics. I phrased it as sort of a question of trying to get good SEO from a long page or post and trying to get a good user experiance. In a nutshell short and sweet text with pics for pages . This gives a good user experiance and SEO. Long drawn out texts are good being as posts as they are also good for SEO. If a person is really interested they will go to a post after they were satisfied with a page. The front page is kinda like a sweet snack wheras the post could be a full course dinner after they tasted the snack?! Let me know what you think? Thanks!

Here's what I think (and would do). . .
I would only make "pages" for my About, Contact, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, and my main keyword(s).
Everything else would go to posts so they can go in there own categories.
And for my main keyword page(s), I would make it around 2,000+ words of helpful, detailed content.
And for my posts, I would make them at at least 800 - 1000+ words.
All quality content, of course. :)
Also, if I found a keyword that has high monthly searches, I would TRY to write up a high quality 1500-2000+ article.
As for images, AT LEAST 1 per article.
That's just me. Let's see what other people think. :)
Cheers!
Thanks so much! It really helps! I'm putting a lot of work and thought into my site and don't want to go down the wrong road! You have been super helpful!
Cool! :)
