A workaround for a broken visual editor
I had a broken visual editor. I spent hours on trying to fix it. Went into plugins to try to remedy the problem. Used tiny mce, wp edit advanced, etc. I used all that were available to try to fix my visual editor that was basically blank. I think the problem started from either a plugin that i deleted, or when I upgraded to WP 4.1. Anyway.....to make a long story short. I noticed I did have a siterubix site where I did not upgrade and did not have a broken Visual Editor. Basically I created a page in the working site then I copied and pasted (making sure I switched to text edit) the information into my page where it was broken. Yes! it does work! The only other alternative I have at this point was to delete and start over to see if that corrected the problem....or copy and paste php files from a new install of WP. This however seems and probably is risky? I'll spend just a couple more minutes copy and pasting than to spend any more hours on the problem. Hope this helps anyone who has had this same problem. Let me know if you ever had this problem and what you did to fix it. If you did fix it?

I had the same problem when I moved to WP 4.1. It looks like the problem with the visual editor happened is when I upgraded Word Press to 4.1.
Thanks Sharon! It is part of the ups and downs I guess? I am happy now. I know I can at least use the "H" headings and font color! So strange? I just created a new site-rubix to see if I had an editor? and no vis editor? Seems really odd? Another learning experiance lol.
Have you PM Kyle and ask him, or type a question in the search area above and there will be an answer. Good luck, wish I could help.
