I'm not sure what to do

This is my first blog post. I thought I would start writing to get some of my thoughts and worries out in the open.

I don't know if I should continue with my current campaign. I'm reluctant to quit because I've already put work into it and it's something I love and believe in. But it seems like a pretty weak niche. The keywords I've chosen don't get that much traffic and neither does my articles. I haven't done everything I can to drive traffic to them though. 

What I'm promoting is a course I'm currently taking. I was thinking of starting a blog to explain what I'm doing and take my readers through everything I'm learning and basically how great it is. The course is rather expensive so I'm thinking people will need some time to decide if they want to buy it. Maybe it they start following my blog they will eventually decide it sounds great enough to spend money on.

I don't know if this is a dumb idea? 

I don't know if I should just leave it and go with something a lot more simpler. I feel I might have made things very complicated for myself. I want to continue working on it but I'm afraid I'll keep putting a lot of work into it and never get anything out of it. 

I find it a lot easier to write about something I care about.
