I am a stay at home mum trying to make some money online so that I can be at home longer with my kids - and mostly this is my life nowadays.
But before: I was a teacher at a primary school, and honestly, it was kind of like a dream job. I loved teaching, I had wonderful students with wonderful and helpful parents, so I think I found the job that I could do on a longer term. Unfortunately, though, the salaries of teachers in Hungary are pretty shitty, with a university degree, I would get around 5-600 dollars per month. Well, life is not cheap here either, and it would be kind of impossible to live on this with kids and pay the debt of our house. I have been thinking about quitting my job, but I cannot really imagine any other full or even half-time job for myself, so I decided that I will start working online with WA and keep my job as a hobby and not for the salary :)
During and after my studies I loved traveling around, I spent a half year in Ireland, 2 semesters in Norway, and then half year in Kenya, near the Lake Victoria, among the nicest people in the world, in a tribe, called Luo. Later, when there was no more water and it was kind of impossible to stay there because of it, I moved to Mombasa and I lived among Somalian refugees - who again were so incredibly friendly and helpful that I can only talk about them in superlatives as well (as the Luos).
My aim now here is to earn enough money to go back to these places and people and give something back to them, from whom I always got so much when I lived there. And obviously, I want to show these places to my family now too.
