The Latest Gossip

I'm back. I feel a little better now, and I'm ready to throw myself back into working on my blog and participating in the community.

I missed everyone here a lot. While I was gone I made some major changes to my website. Working behind the scenes is just as important as working on regularly updating your blog.

And speaking of regular updates, I've whittled them down to once a week. I'm still working on my blog post for this week but I hope to have it done by Friday. I haven't updated my blog since the beginning of last month, and it's starting to look pretty neglected.

I've also got an exclusive 10% off coupon for Chocolate.org for subscribers to my mailing list. I'm so excited about that. I'm going to set that up today. I think it's a nice way to say thank you, and is something that people who visit my site may actually use.

I've been networking and I've made connections with some nice bloggers, so I'm working on writing guests posts for other blogs now. It'll help me build an audience and increase my traffic. I feel like this is a great way to get my name out there.

My next move is to hire a blogging coach who can show me how to get sponsors for my blog. This probably won't happen until July or August, since I have to save up for it, but I'm excited that I can actually make this a goal.

I'm absolutely excited about the direction I'm heading in. I'm hoping to be able to post more positive things and encourage others to keep going. The hard work does pay off, but you have to be willing to be consistent.

And to everyone who sent me their sympathies, thank you very much. You helped me get through a really rough week. :)
