Buttery Waffles, Social Media, and I Am So Done

I'm sitting here eating buttery waffles, eggs and sausage, staring at my phone. I'm not looking for a message. I'm just looking at the time. I'm wasting minutes, hours, just like I did all this week.
Specifically: I'm procrastinating.
I know what happened. I got fed up with something in my life that had nothing to do with blogging or working. But that "I'm so done with this" attitude dragged over into other aspects of my life.

I should explain I have depression. It's caused by a chemical imbalance. It's easier for me to actually get depressed. I try not to. I stay active, I take my meds, I socialize (with real people, not online), I eat right-ish. But when it hits me, it hits hard. I think this is one of those times.
I'm in Course 4, which is social media. I hate social media, but I like using Pinterest and Twitter. Probably because you can link the two together, which I have done. So when I post on one site I'm actually posting on both. Nice. But I won't touch Facebook with a 39.5 foot pole. No thanks.
I only published 2 blog posts this week, as opposed to three. One of them I didn't even bother getting comments for. I just published it Wednesday night and then left it there. My poor post is so lonely. It needs comments. I'm going to trade comments with some of you later today.
I enjoy WA, and I enjoy working on my blog. I enjoy writing. I AM a writer. But I need to figure out how to balance this distaste for one part of my life with my job and blog.
Yes, I know. "Just change it." I'm actually working on that. But until it changes completely, I'm still going to be struggling with the rest of this stuff. Especially posting on social media. I may like Pinterest and Twitter but I still hate social media. I understand it's just a tool but that doesn't mean I have to like using it.
Maybe I'll cut my blog posts down to two a week until I can fully resolve this other problem.
