Day 1: The Start
Well, now that 2018 is fast approaching, I believe it is time to start thinking about growing myself and starting an online business of some sort.
Thinking back, about 7 years ago, I was out of high school and starting my college career. What I remember doing a lot was looking for ways to make online money. After going through course after course, struggling, wasting money, I quickly went from wanting to build an online business to "online Paypal money generator". You could say that I lost interest. Over the last 3 years of that 7 year time, I started getting depressed and found myself wishing I were popular or successful like the hundreds online. At the same time of my depression, I was currently enrolled at a University where I did nothing but fail at my courses. This plummeted my depression even further as well as my GPA to the point that I had to take off a semester and work a mediocre. Once that semester sitting out was over, I went back in the Spring of 2017, after having gotten on some anti-depressant medication and had the best semester ever - replacing some F's, getting better at studying, and meeting new people. Finally, I thought life was going to get better and it did! Along with the success from studies, I started broadcasting myself as a hobby to Twitch with the sole goal of "making someone's day". This continued through the year. All I can say as I sit at the end of 2017 is that this year has been a success one for me.
Now that 2017 is coming to a close, I need to start working on 2018 and thinking about starting something. After thinking about some of what I use to do in the past, I then remembered a thing call Wealthy Affiliate. Before my "reconstruction" and back when I had depression, I could never muster up enough focus to work through all the learning that could be achieved from this fountain of knowledge. Therefore, I am personally making it my goal to go through it and take the necessary steps to building something for the future.
