Hi All,

I just noticed that the theme I picked for my site "twenty thirteen" didn't have a blogroll widget.

I managed to find a work-around by using a custom menu.</

Heya Steve!

Unfortunately for some reason 2013 doesnt seem to have that widget available in the Widget field to install into the sidebar. I had comments, recent posts etc all the usual stuff but not one for "Blogroll" Weird I know. But oh well :)

I also wanted to put up a "Must Read" posts on the side menu and the fix for the blogroll works for that too! *grin*

LOL, I'm no expert either... I'm just one of those people that like to press all the buttons to see what happens. Fortunately this time... I didnt break anything... yet.

Cheers
Al

Sorry If Im going to say something stupid here - in so far as Im sure you know this and its me getting the wrong end of the stick - but you do know that you can search for other widgets online and instal them - your not limited to what 2013 starts with - again sorry if I have misunderstood :-)

Yeah I can totally relate to that!!

Is 2013 That pretty blue one or the ugly orange one?

pbar47 - less of the technical jargon please :-)

Right - sorry, i still apologise for under-estimating you, but I had to ask :-)

LOL@pbar47.. the ugly orange one! :D But don't worry I thought the same, so I changed the that 70's style orange header to the Australian $50 note.

@steve23 no worries matey! And seriously no apologies required. Down here you don't really need to apologise unless you spill someones beer :P

@steve23 Silly!!! LOL

Hi, glad you got round whatever the problem was - I use 2012 myself often, just because thats what i started out with. If you need the 'blogroll widget' was it not possible just to install it in the sidebar - or am I missing something, Im no expert with this stuff !

LOL, nah not silly at all.

Only premium members have access to the "Add New" option... I'm still slumming it here at Starter, so that option wasn't available to me. :D
