Let's Get This Party Started

It seems like I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. It's funny how things suddenly come to you.

I am a photographer and I had restarted my photography business earlier this year and specialized in Boudoir and Glamour photography. I had done all the pre-work, started my social media, got my website going and got a pretty decent portfolio. Then I had my first client and boom I was off. Huge sale. I was so excited.

Then after that I booked 2 more and had a phone consult scheduled. But then....

Stopped my business immediately.

So, "now what?" I thought. Well, I decided to put my efforts into some education. So I started taking classes on retouching and getting my photoshop skills stronger. Started learning compositing and other classes. But I kept asking myself to what end? What is this doing for me right now?

Thankfully I am only a photographer part time. I still had and still have my full time job as an instructional designer but even my company felt the pinch and layed off half my team.

I was extremely lucky.

I realized right then that I can't keep putting my future and my life in the hands of other people. I have to start doing something that will allow me to still do something that I love and make money and will allow me to not depend on working for someone else.

So, I started researching just about everything. One thing led to another and when I was looking for a review on a different affiliate marketing company, I came accross WA.

I'm a newbie here but I must say I'm already pretty impressed. Seems like it's pretty legit. So, I'm putting the next 5 days to the test. Using my Starter account, what can I do?

I know my niche will be photography. I love to learn it, talk about it and teach it. So, I'm on the lesson where you need to create the site and name it. I have a couple of ideas and have received a couple of suggestions. I figure I'll make a decision by tomorrow. I don't want to linger on that and make that delay me from moving forward.

This whole pandemic has made me realize that there is no true security. I'm fortunate to be in the position I'm in but now it's time to put myself and my family in a much better one. So, here we go!
