All You Need is Time
I have been a little missing the last couple of days. Mostly because I think I have too much on my plates.
It's amazing how you get talked into "volunteering" for something you really don't want to do but you get the idea if you don't do it no one will and then the thing that needs the help may end or close. So, you feel guilty and do it and are sorry as soon as it starts.
That's me right now. But I said I would so I am and right now I can't wait for it to be over.
I'm also volunteering for an organization I highly believe in and want to give some of my time to. I see what a difference we make and I want to be a part of that.
Then, there is my full time job. The thing that is paying the bills right now. I am very fortunate that, under our current climate, I am able to be working and still have a job and one I enjoy. But that is 40 hours a week and once I am done for the day, I am mentally exhausted and don't have much function to do anything else.
Then there is my business. Coming up in the rear. I have been wanting to write my article for days. I did the origianl recording for my first draft last week but haven't been able to dictate it until today.
It's frustratng that often I find myself having to put my business last. I know it needs more attention because the more work I do the more results I get. But, it's all about time. There are 24 hours in a day and many of my hours seem to be getting taken from me.
Now, I understand there is a powerful word I should use more often, which is NO, but sometimes saying NO doesn't always work.
So, now I have discovered I must get more organized. I must use my time wisely. So, I have a calendar and I will start scheduling each day with what I will focus on that day.
Hopefully, that will get me back on track.

I've got plenty of time on my hands being retired, but still, there are many things on my plate. Sounds like you've learned a lesson in time management. I keep to a schedule too Kim. It helps.
