Also, maybe, check out mywriterheros.com.. They just followed me on Twitter... I haven't used them.. They have a minimum, though, 5 articles at 500 words each..

A post every 2 days to me looks impossible and anyone who can do it....... but look at it this way, will your readers like it if you posted a new post every2-3 days? after thinking hard about it, the answer is no, your audience have other posts/pages to read,they are busy too, and they are fine if they read quality and quantity(word count) content once every 2 weeks.
You do not have to post a half hearted post with 300 words to please google and displease your audience do you?
lf your finances allow, try outsourcing but maybe not in Fiverr, the quality there is not much to talk of. But if you have to use Fiverr, be ready to edit any content you get.
l do not know how many pages/posts you have, but I'd advise keeping it alive with comments(give/take comments from WA) then get busy in social media maybe 30 minutes a day?(you said you do not have much time).
Cancelling your membership will be a waste of energy already spent and a lost opportunity of what could have been.
Not wanting to have worked on my site for nothing is what keeps me strong because to me,where l came from is more far than where im going.

I work a full time job while I am trying to build my online business. Sometimes when I don't have time I will pay someone on fiverr.com to write an article for me just so that I can keep my website active. The writing quality is often pretty poor but you get what you pay for and it seems easier to me to just go through and edit something someone else has written than to write the whole thing yourself. It basically takes the writers block out of the equation. Maybe it could help you to keep going.
TomD88, I have considered using fiverr.com, but never acted on it, and I agree that it is much easier to edit content than write from scratch. Thanks for a great idea!
You should realize that this is not a race. So work as much as you can and when you can, and when you are inspired to do so.
Writing regularly is a popular myth, yet it is nothing but a myth, Google pays no attention to this, they say it very explicitly. Accept this as a fact and perhaps you will be less under stress. I can write 3 posts in three days sometimes when I am inspired, but I can easily be without any new in another 3 weeks.
You are right it is never ending. But quitting is easy and you can do it any time, so better later than sooner. Hope this helps a bit. Jovo
Jovo, I didn't realize that Google doesn't require regular content, and had the exactly opposite understanding. It's nice to be wrong about that! Thanks for the insight.

that is a hard one for sure. About 3 months ago I experienced the same thing. At the beginning, I had more time and would post every day on my site. But then a 50 hour a week job got in the way.....I just accepted that I needed to slow down. So now I commit to one post a week, which I write on weekends. I spend another hour a day on WA commenting. And I engage people on my site's social media daily. I then link to older posts to keep people coming to my site. It does take time for sure. But for me, writing once a week is all I can do. And I am okay with that.

Emily, your input helps tremendously, and you nailed it with the number of hours spent at the job. I typically spend 50+, but I also LOVE my job and have no intentions of quitting. Blogging was started as a means to build a separate income stream. The commitment you outline seems way more manageable with time. Thank you very much for your response and insight. K~
I am totally with you there! I love my job too! It just happens to be time consuming! But my website was built to supplement my income. And that's what I have to keep in mind. It is a commitment for sure though. Just the social media part takes up a lot of time. But I am typically able to get between 150-200 visitors a day. Which I am fine with for now.
150-200 visitors is great! Without getting too personal about it, does that range of visitors provide turnover for some positive income flow?
not at this point unfortunately! That takes time. The first 2 years are the hardest for a site. I am hopeful it will start generating income in the next months

You need the passion in your niche market and the commitment to want to succeed in order to move forward. It can get difficult to keep motivated but just ask yourself what was the reason you joined WA in the first place.
