I'm getting a security alert that the webmail security certificate has expired. Do yo have any plans to update this?

How do I setup my own clients to get to the email

I hope you get it sorted!

Jeff

Nope, just checked - the certificate hasn't expired. It's set to expire on 22 February 2021.

Also, SSL is just an added layer of protection. Yes, it's more secure than not having HTTPS... But just a few short years ago, almost *everything* online went via a standard unsecured HTTP connection. If you're on a secure network, you'll be more than fine accessing your email.

Thank You. I thought it might be something on my system being overly cautions. Thought I would ask anyway.

I just tried mine again and I got this:

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from webmail.siterubix.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Help improve security on the web for everyone by sending URLs of some pages you visit, limited system information, and some page content to Google. Privacy policy.

I already submitted a sitesupport ticket.
I went in the back office to get to my email for my website.

That's the same error I'm getting, but only when navigating to the webmail. Also when I try to set it up on Outlook, it is showing as insecure ports. Is there some way to ensure these connections are encrypted? I might submit a support ticket too.

I noticed you are talking about HTTPS in your reply. Email is something else and uses a different type of protocol. Typically, it is SMTP or an encrypted form such as S/MIME. I'm not seeing that in the information though. It looks like it might just be using port 25 in an unencrypted state.

Email uses a different port, yes, but you mentioned webmail. Webmail is accessible via port 80, therefore secured via https.

I can see that the server's certificate expired on November 25, 2020, so that'll be what's throwing the warning.

Thank you for clearing that up. I appreciate it.

If I want to upgrade to annual payment how much is it to do so? I am looking at a period of time when I might be unemployed and would rather not pay the monthly fee, but know

To add to what's been said, you can upgrade to the longer plans anytime, if you have any days left in your monthly, your new plan will be prorated so you'll never over pay.

I paid for 6 months to get me to the end of November so I can take advantage of the Black Friday $299/yr. special.

Mark

Hi - it's $359, paid upfront in one lump sum with no refunds. There is a Black Friday deal at $299.

It's a great decision. I made the decision after 5 months of seeing the $49 coming out, and it's a big relief to not have the recurring payment. It is 40% off when you go annual, so you actually save a significant amount of money. The total price is $359/yr or $299 if you make the decision to upgrade on Black Friday.
