Is it possible to have an online store?I see them online when I search for products to purchase personally. But it does not seem like thats the direction my site is going in...

Yes it is the are a few plugins that make it very simple, if you want the link to any of them just contact us.

The word press themes are blogs and google does look at content when ranking, but you can use your blog post for product reviews etc. You can then use menu pages to market products in your niche,,.. either your own or affiliate products. You can set your home page to be static so it will just reflect the one page unless some choose to read other posts. You will learn all this and have options you can devise as you go through the lessons.

From the regular lessons on W.A?Im on course three now and Im stuck cause Im realizing now that I want more of store type site..like yours. So just continue with the regular lessons? Thank You again.

Yes. As you learn you will think of a lot of alternatives.

Yes, you can integrate paypal buttons or Stripe buttons within your wordpress site as a separate page. Or you you can get a shopify and link the two. https://goo.gl/dPcuAu

So I might be getting ahead of myself and overthinking....I regularly do both . But on the video i just completed he says not to put too many affiliate links on your site.. But

For creating a page like you have suggested, I personally that as long as you actually post content along WITH the products and their links (in other words don't list of a ton of products in a row without supporting text or content, write at LEAST a paragraph under each), there isn't a ton of harm. Because like you, I have also seen top rankings sites doing this.

That being said, these sites probably have been around for quite some time and have built up a lot of trust with google and produce a large amount of traffic to be able to get away with doing so. So for me in this instance, I do try to avoid it just in case it will ding my rankings. I typically try to limit myself to 2-3 affiliate links per page/post.

One thing you can do - write individual reviews for each product, and then on the page that will contain the full list of products, post internal links to those reviews within your site on that page. Not only will that make you look a lot better to google (they do like internal linking), but it will also give you way more content in the long run.

For example, instead of one page that lists 10 products, you will essentially have created 10 pages of reviews for each of these 10 products, plus an additional page that lists links to each of them. And 11 pages of content > 1 page of content :)

Hope that made sense, let me know if help you further.

Thanks a lot for your input! So basically your suggestion is have a page with all the products..just the products, with links when u click on it it takes you to my page with the specific product on it with a review with an affiliate link there? If Im understanding the concept correctly it seems like a really good idea.

You are welcome. And yes, exactly. :)
