I have a blog hosted on wordpress.com (www.neo-style.co.uk) and I am registered as an amazon affiliate. Issue is, whenever I create links and try to insert them into blog posts,
Hmm.... That's a bit strange. Point me to a page where you are trying to add a link. What happens when you try to add it. Can you make a screen capture?

Wordpress blocking my amazon affiliate links?

Where on that page were you trying to add it?
What was the link you were trying to add?
What happened when you tried to add it?
Please have a look at the Pink Floydd link. It looks hyperlinked but when you hover or try to click on it, nothing happens. That link is an affiliate link that I created from amazon. The rest of the links are etsy and they work fine, they are also affiliate links.

I've just had a quick look, and there is no href value on the link - It goes nowhere.
Are you copying the URL from Amazon right? They can be a bit tricky...
