Feeling Hopeful
I have been on Wealthy Affiliate for less than a week and already I am hopeful. Last year, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in a major that I decided in my last semester was not for me. However, I kept going because I was so close to the finish line, and I had obtained an internship that could lead to a job. I ended up getting the job, yet I was still unhappy. That was when the thought popped into my head that I should start my own business and be my own boss, but there was a problem. I had no clue where to start or even what to start a business in. So, I thought of it as an unattainable idea and put it on the back burner to pursue graduate school in hopes that moving up in my industry would make things better.
Anyway, I say all of that to say I had never heard of affiliate marketing and found Wealthy Affiliate by accident. And, I am so glad I did. I feel like I have finally found something that I can put my energy into and actually enjoy that can eventually replace a conventional job. The WA community is very positive and supportive, and reading the success stories is a great motivator. Thank you to everyone who has wished me a warm welcome.
