At the end of every Wordpress Post, there is a General SEO Settings where you're required to write your Meta Title and Meta Description.

Meta Title - is used to determine the title used on Search Engine Result Pages (SERP);

Meta Description - is used to determine the text used under the title on SERPs.

Meta titles and descriptions are critical in getting your posts on page 1 of Google.

• Titles of posts, have a pretty big impact. According to Google, pages with title of 15-40 characters long has a 8.6% higher click-through rates (CTRs). Have a keyword in the URL. Google cuts off long titles.
• Meta descriptions are usually 2-3 characters longer than than meta titles. Increases page CTR by 6%.

You can improve CTR by improving your article position; and by optimizing title URL (meta title) and meta description.

Here's how:

Example: You have built content around keyword phrase "how to keep bees off hummingbird feeders".

Keyword tool JAAXY tells us that this keyword phrase gets average monthly searches of 228, potential traffic of 39 if you appear on page 1, the number of competing websites ranked in Google for this exact keyword is 12 and the SEO potential is 91. Pretty good long-tail keyword with low competition.

After creating your content and when it comes to General SEO Settings, go to ChatGPT and type the following command prompt:

"Write me a 15-40 character meta title and 120 - 160 character meta description for my blog post on "how to keep bees off hummingbird feeders".suggest 10 more. Have my primary keyword phrase "how to keep bees off hummingbird feeders" in the meta description"

It will give you 1. Type 5 or 10 more and ChatGPT will give you more descriptions for you to choose from. Key: Ensure your keyword phrase is in the meta descriptions.
