2020, a crazy year, has come to an end. Despite everything that has happened, 2020 has been a great year for me. Although I didn't meet all of the goals I had set out for myself, I made significant personal progress, which will help set me up for success in 2021.

Breaking Another Record On Medium
Let's jump right into my results.
At the beginning of last month, I told myself that I would change things in December, and I did. In November, I broke my Medium earnings record by earning $15.34. Typically when I break a record, I end up slacking off in the coming months.
I told myself that I wouldn't slack off, and I'll prove to myself that I can improve. And that's what I did. I wrote more blog posts in December than I did in November and earned $19.09.

In January, I'm looking to break another record and continue pushing my blogging efforts forward.
A Complete Focus On Improving My Blogging Ability And Helping Others
Usually, I set some publishing or monetary goal that I want to reach in these posts. For example, last month, my goal was to write one blog post daily on Medium, once a week on my badminton and gaming blog, and create one video.
And like always, I don't hit them.
One big thing I learned towards the end of 2020 is to focus on the process, not the results. I need to focus on improving my ability to make money, not on making money itself.
Thus, my main goal is to improve my blogging ability. I'm not going to say how much because I don't know. I just want to make it so that every day I learn something new.
Additionally, instead of thinking about how much money I can make from writing this one blog post or making this one video, I will focus on my ability to help someone with my content.
It became apparent to me that I'm focusing way too much on how much money each blog post can generate for me when I should be focused on providing value for someone. Money, after all, is the byproduct of someone seeing your content as valuable.
