Steady Wins The Race - Consistency and Your Business
If there is one thing I have learned through the years in affiliate marketing is the value of being consistent. When you are new to affiliate marketing initially there is always a lot of excitement followed by a burst of activity and excitement about your new found business.
I used to think this was great as it can give you a great jumpstart into getting your business underway. Sadly, more times than not I have seen people burn out rather quickly using this method to start their business. The success doesn't come fast enough for them to keep them motivated and they end up giving up.
What I recommend people that are new to affiliate marketing do, is start slow and steady. Spend a couple hours a day working on your business, but be sure and do this every day, not sporadically. Continue at it and before you know it 2 weeks, 4 weeks or more have gone by and you will have made some real progress on your business and have much more realistic expectations going forward.
Sure you are always going to hear about the person who jumped into affiliate marketing and worked 15 hours a day and started making big money 60 days in, but trust me these are rarities.
Take your time, be consistent working at your business in WA every day, and before you know it, you will have a full fledged affiliate marketing business on your hands! :)
