Opening the Door
So I'm about to make a month here at WA so I thought it would be appropriate to write my first blog. First off I want to thank Kyle and Carson for creating a truly unique and wonderful online community! Second off I would like to thank the community itself. Everyone here at WA is so kind and helpful! At first I was hesitant to ask for help or join in on the community, but once I did I saw how helpful everybody here was.
Every time I have posted a question someone has taken the time to answer or help me find the answer i'm looking for. That is invaluable. As they say time is money, so to me it has been amazing to see all of the time people take to help others here at WA. I'm from NYC and people around here are not so kind, so while it has taken some getting used to, I must say it is refreshing!
Progress
I must admit that when I first joined WA I was looking for a get rich quick method. Unfortunately I had seen so many YouTube videos and fake websites claiming that making money online was "quick and easy" that I honestly believed I could make $1,000 a day no problem. Although I am no where near making that type of money I have learned 2 really important things.
1. There is no such thing as easy money
2. It is possible to be successful online
To me these lessons are more valuable then making $1,000 a day. Because I have learned that while it's not easy to make money online, it is possible and that gives me hope and motivation. I now know that while it's not going to happen overnight, through hard work I will be able to achieve my ultimate goal of being financially independent and working for my self.
Education
It's been an amazing month and while I haven't earned any money yet, I have been acquiring something much more valuable then that, an Education. A real education (i'm really anti college) that is helping me create an online business that will earn me money doing something I enjoy. Not to be cheesy but that is truly priceless!
I also must say that aside from learning how to build a profitable website, I have also learned so much from the community. Some of the blogs I have read have truly been life changing. This is an amazing community full of truly intelligent people with amazing insights! I mean honestly sometimes it's hard to get work done, since all I want to do is read blogs (lol)!
Conclusion
I am really excited to have found this place and I'm looking forward to everything I know I will accomplish here. More then that I am happy I have found a place and a community of like minded individuals. Together we are going to accomplish great things!
