Weekend Adventures!

We have been so lucky to have met another family at church and they have a son the same age as Landon! I know I have not been devoting as much time here as I use to, but I am seeking other opportunities at the moment that needed my attention. I however took time to take the family out this past Saturday and Landon's friend who stayed the weekend with him.

Our first stop was a local car show at the VFW hall! The day was beautiful and the smell of high-octane fuel a boys and dads dream. Mom not so much lol. Don't be fooled I know she liked the nice classics.
These two boys just couldn't resist getting a picture in front of this Ol' square body. This is Landon's dream truck which I won't complain. I love the fact he likes the older muscle cars and pick-ups.
Then we left and went into the big city of Saint Louis to visit the Wild Bird Sanctuary and then Lone Elk Park. Lone Elk Park was cool because you can drive through the Sanctuary and deer, buffalo, and elk can come right up to your vehicle.
The Bird Sanctuary had some neat birds and some that were endangered across the globe! This was a park and walk through so thankfully the weather was beautiful to be outdoors.
