Hi Kevin. Your first website eh? Great! The best way that you can tell if a website is going well and starting to take shape is when you start to add some of your own written content. The WordPress theme that you have chosen is very common. In my opinion there are better themes out there and there is nothing to stop you from trying a few of them to see how you feel.

At the moment you have your site up and on the web which is great. I would experiment with some other themes, see what you think looks good. But most importantly, plan your content, build a couple of pages and then ask us to give you some feedback.

By the way, I think you have chosen very well with your domain name!
