Giving Myself a pat on the back!

So, It's Friday and this week has been hectic to say the least. My new husband's dad doesn't have long left on this earth and we get calls to say he's near the end and, Mark makes the 2-hour journey to be with him. Then, all of a sudden, he rallies round and everything's good for a few days. It's just horrific watching someone suffer and so disruptive. You're constantly watching the phone in case you get another call. You can't make plans or do anything in case you have to drop them to get the train to where he is.

Our youngest, Madison has been in a school production this week. They have been doing Grease and tonight is the last night and the one that Mark and i will be going to, along with the next youngest, Leah who's a footballer. Then, tomorrow we are taking the girls to a trampoline park. Sounds like a blast and I might even do it myself. Failing that, they can work off some energy, leave their games consoles and TVs alone for a few hours and jump off some energy while Mark and I sit in the cafe and relax.

It's been hard to settle down and get my head down to working with all the madness and mayhem but I managed it and I'm giving myself a pat on the back. Go me! Not only have I finally completed the first 10 lessons in the WA course, I've got the first 3 pages of my website done, climbed the rankings from 2300 to just over 1000 and to be honest, I've been champing at the bit to get going every day. I'm totally motivated to see who's followed me, what blogs people have written and to comment and like stuff. I'm just having a ball here at WA.

Anyway, if you've had a good week. Give yourself a pat on the back and remember to take some time out to spend time with your family. After all,this is why most of us are doing this right?
