The standard PayPal account is usually used for online shopping whereas the business account is needed to receive payments, add PayPal "buy" buttons for your priducts etc.

Thank you for your answer but still have some doubt if you don't mind. Let say I have a website and I am in affiliate program with amazon, I will need business paypal to receive money from them even if I don't sell product myself ?

If you set up an Amazon affiliate program they pay you by cheque for any sales made.

Yes, I would recommend it.. Reason, it show the true income that you are generating from your business. Plus from an accounting view it's easy to log on your spreadsheet for your yearly reports.

I would have a separate account for personal income so it is not confused with your business income.
