It's Begun
I spent the better part of today setting up my website, and it's now live and ready for everyone to view!
I wasn't sure whether to make the domain the name of my personal brand, or something more specific to my niche. I didn't feel good about the latter part just because I'd rather be known for my personal brand and how that's ultimately linked to my niche. So right now my website is at: www.DiaryofaSociallyAwkward.siterubix.com. I spent a lot of money from my most recent paycheck online, so I'm going to wait until I get paid next week to pay for the domain name and apply it to my website which I've already established.
I would greatly appreciate getting some feedback for my website so far! I only have one official post right now, but I do have content on my other pages that are not my main page. Let me know what you think!
I want to get around 100 - 1,000 followers on my website before I do this, but I want to start a newsletter. Again, I want to have some sort of foundation before I start one, but I have a general idea of it in the works. Let me know if you would be interested into subscribing to a newsletter by signing up for the RSS on my website.
My website, Diary of a Socially Awkward, is intended to help you conquer and overcome social anxiety. This is something that I've suffered from ever since I was 12, and I had to go through it alone. I also have a great deal of friends that also have it and who come to me specifically for advice. I want to be able to focus 100% of my time on this website so that I can devote myself full-time to helping people overcome their social anxiety.
Well, now I've officially begun! Let's see how far I can take it.

Great job with this! congratulations on getting the ball rolling. I think this is something useful that many people may need. I can honestly say that when I was growing up I learned how to overcome my social anxiety by seeking help. The fact that you are providing this is great.

Thank you for checking out the website. Yeah, I had to learn to embrace my anxiety on my own. I think people need a support system that doesn't feel too forced, and I want to provide that!
I looked in on your Blog and did not find an entry point for leaving a comment... On the contact page, you promised a query email address, but none was evident..
Just a few thoughts, however, it appears as if you have a great start on a full service website for helping people with this debilitating disorder.

Thank you for your feedback. I rearranged the business query email so that it's more noticeable, and as for the comments, you have to click on the post so you can comment on the specific post that you're interested in.

Hi, Kennedy. Awesome job on your website and videos. I absolutely love your tips on how to manage social anxiety.
I used to have quite high social anxiety (as well as shyness) but when I started working, although it took several months, my anxiety calmed down.
