Still Preparing For Winter

For some reason I keep running into time thieves when I try to embark into a new adventure and it always seems to come from both sides, work and personal. At work it is the usual "fire" that needs put out to never occur again but steal the "now" right away from you. At home it is the inevitable "car problems" that seem to be stealing my time both by sapping my energy and stealing my time as I try to find someone to fix the problem(s). Yeah, they rarely come alone.

But enough with the excuses.

A quick assessment tells me I have lost a week and the site is horrible. I may decide that it needs restored and maybe just replace the heading graphics. The problem for me is I have to learn how to use ftp a little better since I am on WA hosting and brush up on some other skills like creating a database. If I can't get that accomplished I need to do MAJOR work on the existing site. While I can easily switch the theme I need to figure out how to replace the graphics within that theme.

I know this is in reality fairly easily done but I can't make up my mind which way to go because I don't have enough information. I want to change to Christmas next and then Valentines and then Easter and then... well you get the picture.

So I will be watching videos and reading up on the easiest way to conquer the problem of changing your site to look dressed up in whatever holiday or "theme" you would like to use. I will also go clean up the existing one since it looks so bad. I just won't spend a lot of time and may miss something here and there.
