I Went Premium!

I don't know if I've spent too much time on this site or not, but ever since I went premium, which has been under 48 hours, I feel like I lost my momentum! That is not a good thing! It's really hard to get ranked in google I think. I don't have a lot of content at all, but it seems like I've been working so hard on learning and creating. I'm starting to see a lot of work, but not much content or pay off. I hope I can push myself to keep going and creating content. I know the longer Im established the better traffic will be. I'm trying to find my passion in this again. Would anyone suggest moving away from the computer for a few days? Maybe that has worked for others.

I can tell you from experience that what you're feeling right now is totally normal. I've had this happen plenty of times in my years within this business and still do. If you feel like you're having difficulty focusing on this, take a day or two off. Focus on a fun activity. This will help you come back stronger and ready to move forward.

The good news and what I can promise you is that it DOES get easier as you go further. I've gotten to a point where content creation just takes me 15-20 minutes to do a day and I'm done.

About the Google thing, don't worry about not ranking high right now as this is also completely normal and a process every site has to go through.

The BEST thing you can do is keep adding content to your site and continuing with the training. Be sure to ask questions if they arise and someone (including me) will always be there to help you :)

I promise you that if you keep adding content, you will gradually see higher and higher ranks and the visitors will start coming to your site. Overtime, this will only increase like a snowball effect and you will see great results, both in visitor count and monetary rewards :)

I know what you're feeling right now Becky and it's important to know that this is the most important time for you. Most people who get into this business quit early because they don't see the results they want right away, but it's those people who are patient, who keep pushing forward and are committed to succeeding that reach that success. I know you can do it!

It can get overwhelming but as Rick and Beverley said, follow the training. You might check out a live training or two or an article here and there but keep to the training 99% of the time. If you find something interesting, book mark it, make a note, what ever, and come back to it later. Don't step off the path and wander in the deep woods, you may never find your way back! :) One foot in front of the other along a proven path and you will start seeing the results you are after.

Hi. I totally agree with what Beverley says below. Now that you're Premium you have a mountain of information and videos available to you. But stick with the training as it's laid out, whether you're doing the Certification or Bootcamp. The lessons are your road map up that mountain. Take on each one as they're presented, the other stuff, and there is lots, will still be there when you're ready for them. And yes, step away from the computer and go for a walk...but take a notebook because the inspiration will come. Hope this helps.

Hi Becky
I read your profile and you say it's always been a dream of yours to have your own website. Now you have actually turned it into a reality, you're struggling. This is not uncommon. It happens to a lot of us. Yes I do suggest stepping away from the computer for a couple of days - it really won't matter and it will give you a fresh eye. I would also jot down why you originally wanted your site and what you want from it. Pin it up somewhere so you can remind yourself when the going gets tough. Creating the content is the best part for many people - so get a whole lot of ideas down on paper - that you could write about it and when you come back work out a simple schedule for getting your content written. Your mojo will come back I promise you. :) Beverley
