Credit Where Credit's Due
We seem to be all too ready to complain about bad products, bad service, etc. these days, but I am very happy to report that I am delighted with the support service that WA provides.
Last week, I wanted to use a particular theme on one of my WA sites. This theme required licence validation which meant that there needed to be an outgoing conversation between the WA servers and the theme creator's servers.
Now, this is something that is not normally allowed by WA for some very valid security reasons. However, more in hope than expectation, I submitted a support request and received a response within seconds. The outcome was that, on submission of the licence key, WA support were able to complete the validation on my behalf.
Not only that, but half an hour later, I needed a similar process completed for a plugin. That request was dealt with almost in real-time.
When I compare this with the abysmal support I recently experienced with another provider (2 days to respond to my telling them that my sites on their servers had been hacked) I am absolutely overjoyed and very impressed.
WA made sure that I didn't waste any time waiting during my site setup process. Well guys and gals. A sure sign that this community has many aspects of value.
