I dont like me domain name and am thinking of changing it. I only have 15 posts at this stage and discernable web presence... is now the right time?
I bought the domain... it is just a matter of whether I will use it... probably will. Niche is internet marketing... currently using netmarketinghome.com and new one is emarketry.com which is much shorter and more brandable I'm thinking.
I have the same issue. In fact, I think I am about to change my niche and I have not even done my first post yet. This is all sooooo new to me.

Once you pick your domain its not a good idea to change it. Maybe buy a new domain and start another site. I could be wrong don't stop until you get your answer.

Nope this does not happen to me. You should absolutely get rid of internet explorer, you're living in the dark ages my friend. :)
what do you use... not that crappy Chrome I hope. Every time I use it I get add-ons and junk that hijacks everything.
Dark the ages might be, but I can put a light on and see just fine.

haha this was funny, Kel! Well I would use Firefox or Chrome personally. I am using crappy Chrome currently ;) but I don't have any add ons or junk so I'm not quite sure what kind of experience you were having!
I personally find Chrome more enjoyable than firefox or safari even, and thats saying something because I'll admit I'm an Apple fanboy. Chrome seems to load everything the fastest, plus it allows me to access my Google products quickly like docs and sheets which I use a lot for tracking my websites SEO. Just my two cents :)

On the tools menu (where you choose fonts, italics etc..) you will see an link icon (looks like a link in a chain.) Type the word or phrase you want the reader to click in your post or page, then select that word or phrase, and click the link icon, a pop up will ask you for the link (url or other .where you want the reader to go when they click the selected word or phrase.)

I was progressing my training, and in doing so went to Kyle's Build A Website page within his Ways to Avoid Scams website. http://waystoavoidscamsonline.com/build-a-successful-website If you look below his widgets in the right hand column is a banner for WA. How did he put it there? That is the sort of thing I am asking about.

Ok Kel, this is how you do it..
Go into SiteRubix and log into the website you want to work with. From the Dashboard, choose Widgets. One of the Widgets available is "Text". Open that Widget tool and paste the banner information you want into that box. The banner will then display on every page opened.

OK how he has done that is He went here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/banners and if you scroll down you will see all sorts of different types of banners. (the one you saw is there as well)The link for it is usually just below it (not the direct link the one below that), Copy the whole link and then go to your wesite page editor and select the place you want to put it. Then goto the top of the editor you see 2 tabs one will say text, click on that and then paste the link in there. Click the tab that's next to it and you will see the banner. Publish the page and then view the page and you should see the banner, and now it has the link with your personal link attached to it. Is this helpfull?
All you need to do is get the http://url and then you can attach this to an image or to a text. But you can always use the banners if you want. One thing though to many banners don't look to good on your website. And don't over advertise on a page. Hope that helps?
HI, Thanks for getting back but I have no idea what you are saying.
I understand the links I get from Amazon will display a banner, but am I stuck with them in the middle of my content, or can I put them off to the side in a separate column? If so, how? I don't see the benefit of having a link to an Amazon product from a word... eg Bike pump... a picture of the pump will be so much more effective. But I don't want a picture of a bike pump showing up somewhere I am not talking about a bike pump, if you get what I mean.

You can use them in the widget. Or, like I do here http://developmentselfconfidence.com/the-skill-of-self-confidence-in-sport-and-daily-life but the in the text. You choose if you want to have only picture or picture with text (I will probably change this in the picture with text because I believe it´s better people see it). You control that for your Amazon affilet side. I absolutely agree that you need to have the link in connect with what you write about. So what you can do is this: Go to your affilet side in Amazon and in the search for product link find something you want. Bike, book, what ever. Right side with the product is button fro get your link. Push him and then you choose between 4 things like the picture only, text only or both together. Hight light the text and use it in widget or the text but the use the flop to wight when you are writing the text (text but not visual) and preview the side to check if it´s ok. Sorry, that it´s not 100% detail of me, but I hope you get the idea.
