I have pointed our servers to my domain owner and now under domains , it now says that its ready..does that mean that I have to source out an external hosting company or will W

WA got you covered.

Hi Keith, if you are happy with your sire being on siterubix then l would let a good thing be. If you want to make your I would suggest a .com site with either WA or another service provider. I do believe there is a monthly cost of about 16.00 dollars. Just my opinion but I would pay the 16.00 dollars and have a com site within the WA environment. All the best

Yes sir,
Any domain that you create on Wealthy Affiliate's Site Rubix platform will be hosted by WA as well as receive site support and premium site hosting features. I believe you can also transfer a website from another host to WA if you need to, although some restrictions might apply based on how the website was built. Hope that answers your question.

Keith I'm not a techie but whatever you said, WA, I think, will take care of that. If you have concerns, see to the left of me see "Help Center?" Go there, I'm sure they can help you!

I transferred one from name cheap to WA the other day, and it only took a few minutes.

It kind of depends. Most don't take very long. I transfered one from BlueHost and it took about a week.
Best of success!

OMG, there are so many, how do you know which one will be what you want. What sort of attributes should I be looking out for?

Keith,

Just pick one that is visually appealing to you. You have to like your site. It it's easy to navigate and find your content then it's a good site.

- Glen B

Whichever one keeps your interest and keeps you going...Sounds simple I know, but if you lose interest so will others.

Hi Keith, not sure about your opening line. This is going to be all yours. Use Jaaxy to find some words relating to what you may be interested in

Keith, if you mean which websites to choose from which may offer you the best affiliate program (or mlm program), as Frank says, you need to identify first what you want to talk about in your own website.

Once you have established your niche, then you try and look for programs which will fit in with your niche.

So, if, for argument sake, you wanted to focus your website on natural healthy solutions, then you would have a whole array of products and services to talk about.

If you love fishing, again you could talk about venues, merchandise, methods of fishing, best locations, services and angling clubs, I guess.

The choice is very much yours. Just make sure, however, that whichever affiliate program you go for has good reviews. You don't to go for people who have an ill reputation for not paying, or for charging you to join!

Hello Keith, my imagination does the trick for me! I follow the mantra, what pleases me will someone like me.

Hi Keith, may I say, to me, the approach to your dilemma might have to come from what "service" you can "help" your customers with. To me to be a success here is to identify with your people who will "sacrifice" their undivided time to listen to you.

You talk service, quality-advice, and honesty and your customers will follow you. If you have a passion whatever that might be will take out half the effort on your part. Helps to love a passion, and go from there.

That my friend is the direction that will lead you to success as an e-commerce business owner.

If you have a number of domains ( got greedy like me) look inside of you and ask yourself what you know would help the novice learn something from you. Earn their trust by what you know and the internet universe will find you.

Talk from the heart and they will follow.

OK, OK, not what you were looking for but, to me, I think that's where it starts.

Of the niches you chose which one you love. Whether you're a garden specialist or a financial planner....CHOOSE.

YOU REALLY DON'T NEED TO THINK, the answer is inside of you!

Hope that helps my brother, good luck!

Below is a poster by Denis Blanchard, I think it'll sharpen your focus. Hope you like it.

Thank you my friend ,I have only been doing this for around 7 months and still feel like a beginner. This is only my second site that I am trying to get off the ground and I know that I try to re-invent the wheel when there's nothing wrong with it and this will help me stay grounded.
Cheers
Keith

When I was looking for a theme, I browsed through some of the websites that I go to often. I looked at how they were set up and what fonts they used and things like that.

Then when I was looking over themes, I chose one that was similar. Even after that I still changed it a couple times until I found the one I liked best.

So don't worry too much about having the perfect theme right away, you can make changes.

Janelle

If your are a novice in the internet like me. It took me until this time of about two years to really see what I can develop as a site. I have been confused what would be my niche.

So I would say you can use first the free SiteRubix in creating your free site, fill it with content, and see if you really like the name or title you've created. After you have filled it with content and you think that's what you want then finalize a site name, create your domain name out of your site name and register it.

Maybe you can do it for weeks, not like me that it's too long.

Keith,

I do believe what you are asking here is what theme you should
pick to build your website on - my suggestion would be select
one that you think might be what you're looking for - if it is not
you can always change it later.
I changed themes on one website 11 times before I found one
that will work for me :)

No Way Keith hosting is always available. That's how they make money. Aside from WA did you try to have, your hosting done by a different company

Hi Keith
You can go to "Websites", then "Site Manager" and click on "Build a New Website", then choose "On a domain I own", go through the steps and once your website is propagated, it will show in the dropdown list at number 2.
Wishing you much success!
Sharlee (Chocolate IceCream)

The DNS change has to propagate throughout the internet and the time this takes depends on how often each server updates itself. It can take anything from an hour to 48 hours. You can keep an eye on it through https://www.whatsmydns.net/

It could take 24 hours before everything switched over. You could contact site support in the websites section and see what they say they usually answer any questions pretty quick

I have mistakenly purchased a domain name through another provider and in doing so have no prevented it from being able to be transferred here . I apparently now have to wait 6

Keith you should be able to point to to the wealthy affiliate website. I have purchased through crazy domains, an Aussie one, and pointed the settings to wa immediately.you may not be able to transfer from the domain provider, but you should be able to change the hosting, unless you have that under contract.

oh ok , that's where I purchased as well.. so where do I find the settings for WA?..

Think I've done it. Thanks heaps

Is all ok I can send you full details tonight if you need it. I won't be traveling and will be able to get to my computer
