I was wondering what process this goes through? My understanding is someone who does not remain a Premium member will just get the benefits of a standard member. My questions d

If a Premium member who has direct referrals terminates his/her account those referral comissions won't be paid to any to the former Premium member. Wealthy Affiliate will receive the full amount of their membership. Check with Kyle, but I think it definitely works like this.

You only need 2 premium members as referrals to more than cover your own membership costs. So if you've got at least 2 then it makes no sense to leave WA.

I would say that they default to Kyle or Carson at that point if they no longer have any kind of account here. You can't 'go back' to being a Starter member, but in the case of referrals, I think they do go back to the 'starter rate.' I would ask this question of Kyle directly (PM) in order to get the correct response.

Pretty much my thoughts on what would happen. Definitely a question for Kyle or Carson.

Just thought it would be really cool if the referrals trickled over to little ole' me considering, in theory, I brought the member over who paid it forward to their referrals who decided to stick around (for good reason, no clue why anyone would give up a potential income once it defaults to the starter rate even).

No reason to delete your account IMHO, but in the rare case, it had me question haha.

Thanks for your response!
