Networking OUTSIDE of Wealthy Affiliate

I've a learned a couple things about networking since my time here at Wealthy Affiliate. (Granted, it's only been a couple months - but it's amazing to reflect on where I started to where I am now. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm already taking the right steps!)

When I first joined, I was not into the social media world except to share a few pictures of the family on Facebook, keep tabs on old friends, etc. Other than that, I did NO networking whatsoever.

That being said, I don't have a lot of 'friends' that find this type of work interesting and getting them to even visit my blog has been like pulling teeth sometimes. I guess unless I can show actual proof (being monetary gain) that this works, they aren't that interested.

It's also hard to network with people from WA outside of WA because everyone in here already has the tools and knowledge that I leverage on my website. (For example, I'm not going to share someone else's article about Jaaxy on my social media since I have one myself)

But, I have found other communities online - mostly Facebook groups of other bloggers that host pages specifically for bloggers to network/gather advice/meet new friends, etc...

I found it this as a very useful tool - not only to promote WA but also introducing them to Jaaxy - which benefits what they are already doing.

Plus, I'm making new friends around the world - which is kind of cool! Don't get me wrong, I love making friends and connecting with people inside WA too - but I'm already seeing the benefit of reaching out to other bloggers who are not already a part of this community.

Anyway, I love it here and I don't see myself going anywhere anytime soon!

I am not interested in other than WA

WA is by far the best platform I've come across. I simply meant that finding other blogging communities is a good way to let others know about WA and what they have to offer.

For example, if I'm going to tell others about Jaaxy - I'm not going to do that inside WA because people here already know about it. I can, however, see the power of letting others know about the program who aren't already here - through other social media forums.

I feel like it's easier to point someone here if I already have a relationship with them on a blogging community because there's a trust level when you're constantly interacting with them online.

I agree that WA is great and I primarily network outside of WA to hopefully let others know about it and bring them in. I meant no disrespect to WA or this community here, because I do love it.

Have a great weekend!

thank you I got that
