Video to explain my problem with Facebook ad
I am having difficulty deciding whether or not to keep a Facebook ad that is getting a lot of likes and link clicks but very few comments, shares, and no referrals or conversions.
Also, when I tried to pause the ad it won't let me do that.
I tried to post this video in the comments under the bootcamp for week 8 but I couldn't upload it there, so I'm posting it here.

I’ve seen this ad pause issue with some other folks here.
To pause the ad, try going into Meta Business Suite (lower left of your screen) > Ads Manager
From there you should be able to pause the ad.
Here is the link: https://adsmanager.facebook.com/adsmanager/manage/campaigns
In terms of your ad. A couple things:
* URL where you are sending people (your homepage) has no context to the ad itself
*You are asking for too many things from the audience (comments, 2 links etc)
I think if you streamline the funnel, you will get conversions.
Thanks Jay. I agree. I will again try to pause and then repurpose the ad and streamline it.
It is like my poetry...
Great numbers and reactions though...
perhaps it needs trying another audience willing to start a business
I would try following up with another ad
Once launched, the engines do not stop...
Let go Bob
Peace of mind.

I missed them as well...
As for the ads, I used them to gain followers, and it worked surprisingly well, 🤭

That's REALLY confusing. Your numbers are EXCELLENT so the conversion result is really strange. Personally, I would give the ad more time (my opinion is not professional though since I am just starting with this Facebook ad business) but my experience so far is that I get better and better numbers each time I extend MY ads. I did get one conversion with much smaller numbers than yours. Oh, and the conversion I DID get is completely inactive. MAC.

I had the same issue, but you can pause the ad from Business Suite side. Jay suggested this, but that was late because I ended up deleting the ad altogether. Try that option and let's know how it goes.
My ads actually got comments only from members here (WA), not from strangers, and that's not healthy, is it? I have paused most of the ads now because they are not giving me signups.
One ad is running because it's meant to promote my Facebook fan page, but I will eventually pause it because no followers generated as a result yet, but so many clicks/visits to the page.
I was able to pause the ad via Jay's instruction. Now, I need to re-do the ad in a more focused manner.
Ah, glad you managed to pause it. Now create a better version. You are not alone here.
Thanks, John. Will do.
