When WP runs all your paragraphs together!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share this as I'm having this problem alot right now. My wordpress theme, Twenty Seventeen, refuses to create spaces when I hit return between paragraphs. Needless to say this looks terrible on the posts!

If you don't want to wade through it - the gist is, you need to manually enter a break in the 'Text' window of your post. In fact, I've needed to enter two to get it to work! The code is: <br />
