Sometimes It's Difficult

Last Update: April 19, 2015

Some days...well...most days I find it a real struggle to work on my website.

Writing the content is usually okay, I usually do this on the train on the way to work or a doctor's appointment but doing the actual work with keyword searches and picking topics and affiliate marketing, all that sort of stuff really tired me out when i try to do it at the end of a long hard day.

I've been working on my website now at wealthy affiliate for a couple of weeks but I'm just not someone with a lot of patience.

I'm also worried that enjoy the blogging aspect more than the making money aspect. I've never been that money driven.

I'm sure if I keep at it I'll figure it out.

Oh well, I'm just writing this for myself really anyway.

I understand not being that money driven, truly I'm not either but I have big dreams of making a difference in this world and the money will help me do that, as long as the current economic system exists. The bigger thing is I enjoy writing my content though at times I am overwhelmed at trying to keep it a regular practice. I'm not really that good with routine either, very much a free spirit I suppose. I see this as a tool though to enable me to support my free spirit and help others. I'm not saying you need or have to make money but even when you are not driven by money there is value in having a means of exchange. The Norse call it "Fehu" or "fee" and it is important to have balance in that which is found in "gebo", these are runes which teach different things as well as are valued in divination. If you take the time to write quality content, that will be the hard work. As easy as WA makes doing things I bet adding the affiliate stuff is pretty much like adding a picture. :) I imagine hanging in there and pushing yourself might be fruitful if you enjoy writing online.

Hi Laurie,

Thank you so much for the kind words. I didn't know anything about Fehu or Gebo so thanks for opening my mind to that information!

All the best to you and thank you again :)

Their concepts are deep so a simple explanation won't work on here, I wrote a long article on Fehu I will look for it as I removed it a while back for various reasons maybe I will repost. A web search will provide you with some information but their meanings are incredibly deep.

Hang in there and use this as a tool to create what it is you really want. :)

Thanks for sharing, Katia.
The income for me has always been about FREEDOM and spending more time with my family, traveling, and having a great time.
And that's what my family and I enjoy now thanks to this industry!

Thank you so much Dan. My website is actually called Freedom to Thrive (and is about the travel I'll be doing) so freedom is my main goal too. I'm glad to hear you're reaching goals that I one day hope to achieve, it's very inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to comment. All the best, Katia

Hi Katia. I can appreciate your feelings. I find that if you blog about something that genuinely help people, as well as let them know about the benefits of WA, you don't have to be all about making money - just help people and if a service or product is involved, the money will follow. Good Luck to you. Robert www.incomecashcredit.com
