What I Learned From Almost A Month Of Being Premium

I was lost. That's it. I'm a 20 yr old lost woman. That was all I could think about two years ago. Now that medical school is not possible, what do I do with my life? Working inside a laboratory didn't sound appealing to me at all. And the pay wasn't enough.

So I packed my bags and went to Thailand for a teaching experience. I loved it and I still am having fun teaching. However, there's always a small voice at the back of my head telling me that I should be doing something else. I also felt that I wasn't maximizing my potentials and wasn't putting out the creative energy that I have.

"Okay, I want to speak my thoughts to as many people as possible. I will start with writing." The problem was, I had no freaking idea how to do it. And many websites that trains in online marketing is so expensive.

I saw Wealthy Affiliate and voila! This is it. It's free for seven days, might as well give it a try and see if it's worth my money. And while I was a free user, I loved it. It's simple. It's explained in layman's terms. I felt that this was for me. So I went premium, and then magic happened.

Having my own website solidified the vision that I saw for myself. I am going to speak to more people and I have a site to prove it. It's legit. Katey is a writer. With all the doubts and fears, I pushed through with WA, and I am loving it.

So far, my accomplishment is I have my own niche website specifically catered for Filipinas who are struggling with emotional wounds, and who are bound by limiting beliefs to success. Believe me, we do have a lot of that in our country. To my surprise, my friends were very supportive and they kept on pushing me to write more.

I found myself not spiraling into a negative drama all the time because I was finally doing something that I love. And also, the scientist in me is all awake and curious to learn the world of digital marketing. So, I'm not bored, depressed, or lonely because my baby is out there, available for anyone who wants to be inspired. I am so proud of what I've accomplished in a short span of time, and also grateful for the loving community that this platform has.

For the upcoming three months, I plan to take my niche website to another level by focusing on better content and learning about how to monetize my writing. I am very excited for this and at the same time I keep on reminding myself not to be obsessed with results but to enjoy the process of building an online business.In the upcoming six months, my goal is for income to flow and reach a bigger market.

I am certain that it will work because so far, it has. When you focus on your why, the how will reveal itself. I trust WA. I trust this journey.
