Progress Not Purrrfection
A case of the "Sunday Dread" settles in right around this time every week. If you work a regular Monday through Friday job you know exactly what I mean when I say a case of the "Sunday Dread".
The alarm clock goes off at 6:15 a.m. on Monday morning. I roll over and hit snooze because the desire to get up and go help someone else live their dream has become a difficult and daunting task.
Don't get me wrong, I love my job, and it has gotten me to where I am at today, so I am grateful for that. But, there is this fire that burns within me that says, it's time to take action for yourself.
An inner voice that says, It's time to chase YOUR dreams. Your creative talents and juices are stunted by the day to day mundane tasks at work. TAKE ACTION NOW!
Change is Strange
Before taking action there are a lot of phases to go through to get to the point where we actually pull the trigger and make a move.
Change is scary, and fear can paralyze us from making changes. From my experience when the pain outweighs the pleasure it is time to make a change. Easier said than done in most cases.
Too Good to Be True
Thus began the research phase of the next step for my career. Boat loads of get-rich-quick schemes started to flood my email as I signed up for information on multiple sites. Determined to work from home, and be my own boss I proceeded to do a LOT of research.
One thing that tells me that affiliate marketing is a great place to be, is that I did exactly what our consumers do to find a product that they eventually buy. I don't know about you, but I always go to Google, Bing, or Yahoo and do extensive research before I purchase anything online
The further I looked into some of these get-rich-quick schemes, the more hesitant I became about making this scary change in my career. I found myself cruising these sites and asking myself, "is this too good to be true?" The answer is yes, it is too good to be true.
The Scam Sold Me
Feeling determined, and fired up with motivation to find a new career path, I pressed on to more and more sites. I started seeing all these reviews and articles on Wealthy Affiliate, so I proceeded to read a bunch of them.
I stumbled across a post about whether Wealthy Affiliate is a scam. The gentleman that wrote it did an eloquent job breaking it all down. He explained why WA is not a scam, and then at the end disclosed that he is a WA affiliate and that is what the scam actually is!
Genius!
His break down of the non scam scam, completely sold me!
The Purrrfect Niche
I love cats. Maybe you love cats. I am passionate about cat care and have been ever since caring for my senior cat Mr. Grey when he got sick.
The two vets I attempted to bring him to, were completely useless and only pushed prescription food that was persuaded by that particular company.
Our pets are more than just pets, they are family. If a family member gets sick we want nothing but the absolute best care for them.
I started a Nine Cat Lives Matter revolution! To empower cat owners around the world to be aware of the best products, food, and overall care for their frisky felines!
I am sure you are intrigued to see what this nine cat lives matter revolution is all about. So, click away https://ninecatlivesmatter.com/ I would love some feedback on my site in the comments below, or feel free to comment on my blog posts!
Meow About the Future
I ranked rather quickly when I first launched my website. However, that was short lived, as I believe I have fallen into the Goggle "sandbox". I would love to hear some of your experience with being ranked then un-ranked early on at WA.
I have been hard at work writing articles, and engaging in the need comments feature here at WA, and it has been fantastic!
I would like to be ranked in the next 3-6 months on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. At that time be on track to have affiliate links in my posts, and eventually by the end of year 1 I would like to see some profit coming in.
Train Your Brain
The community here at WA is so positive and willing to answer any questions, and point me in the right direction to keep moving forward with my new business venture. So, thank you all for being so freaking' awesome!
This is a marathon and not a sprint, and the training I am in right now at WA to me, is getting me "in shape" to be successful for the long haul.
I am a firm believer in, what you put in you get out. Hard work, gets results, and I am a result driven individual.
Yours in Kitty Health,
Kate Grey

Thank you for asking Kate.
I am trying to learn all I can and finding all the new learning enjoyable.
Whenever I gain new knowledge and skills (as now in WA), I am already thinking of the many people I will be able to help to change their lives for the better. And it is exciting.
