As expected Huawei is throwing its hat into the foldable smartphone ring with the 5G Huawei Mate X

Samsung’s Galaxy Fold announcement isn’t even a week old yet (See my previous post: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/karim78/blog/new-samsung-gal...), and we already have a competitor that is thinner, has a bigger screen, and folds flatter and you can get paid to promote it online. The price of the Mate X will start at $2600, What?

Yes, you can earn very nice commission promoting this gimmicky device.

It’s Packed To The Brim With a Bunch Of Great Features - Easy to promote:

Mate X has an 8-inch wraparound OLED display, a folded thickness of a mere 11mm, and a formidable spec sheet highlighted by 5G, a 4,500mAh battery, and an in-house Kirin 980 processor.

The single OLED display of the Mate X serves triple duty. When you fold the device, you essentially have a dual-screen smartphone, with the second display on the rear allowing you to shoot selfies with the main camera or to share what’s on your primary screen with a person on the other side. Open up the Mate X, and you get an almost square tablet that has minimal bezels on three sides.

Even when folded, the Mate X measures 11mm in thickness, thanks in large part to the fact it has no gap in its fold. That’s the inherent advantage of folding a screen around the outside instead on the inside: you don’t have to fear to crease the beautiful display.

In technical terms, here are all the displays you’re getting from this smart thing:

    • 6.6-inch (19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2480 x 1148 resolution) main display, when folded.
    • 6.4-inch (25:9, 2480 x 892) rear display, when folded.
    • 8-inch (8:7.1, 2480 x 2200) main display, when unfolded.

There’s more left unknown about the Huawei Mate X than has been revealed; you’re questioning why Huawei couldn’t make this phone-tablet hybrid that extra little bit wider to deliver a perfectly square display when fully open, I don’t yet have a right answer for that. As is the trend with all foldables right now.

Galaxy Fold vs. Huawei Mate X: Battle of the foldable smartphones:

Waiting for iPhone Fold, the Samsung Galaxy Fold officially has competition.Huawei Foldable Mate X. Both Smartphones unfold into a tablet and support the 5G technology. They have eye-watering prices and launch later this year. However, the similarities end there.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has one small screen on the outside and a large screen on the inside, while the Huawei Mate X uses one screen on the outside in three different ways. It shapeshifts depending on how you hold and use the device. The South Korean phone comes with 4G or 5G and six cameras. The Chinese one has four cameras (three you can see now and one that'll launch in March) and 5G across the board. Moreover, where the Samsung Galaxy Fold's hinge won't lay completely flat, Huawei Mate X boasts about the sophistication of its patented hinge.

However, here's what we know about those foldable smart things so far, and how they both plan to take control of our brave new foldable world.

As Richard Branson Said: "If someone offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes, then learn how to do it later"

As I said about Samsung Galaxy Fold
, Perhaps it may be time to create a new niche website (Foldable Smartphone)

IF YES, THEN HIT THE GREEN BOTTON

Awesome, very well researched and well written post. Very helpful and informative.

    Hope it helps

I learn a lot of things on Wealthy Affiliate...including foldable smartphones:)

Yeah, foldable smart phones can be a trending profitable niche.

I've just Googled the phone and it looks fabulous but I imagine only wealthy early adopters will be willing to fork out that kind of money.

Who has an affiliate program in place for it? Huawei themselves? Amazon?

    Ha ha :)
    I checked Amazon they didn’t sell it yet;
You can check directly at the Huawei website.
