Let's be Realistic about Traffic Exchanges

Caption Affiliate Log 3:

I recently wrote another blog on my site Thelifeofkyle.net about how ineffective traffic exchanges really were for anyone whose serious about building a real income online and have a curated edited, non marketed version for Wealthy Affiliate members as an FYI about Traffic Exchanges. Of course this base on facts and not opinion, most traffic exchanges Ive used is an ever ending hamster wheel of people looking at your website but taking no real action as none of the traffic you receive is coming from targeted sources.
The first thing about traffic exchanges is that we must be realistic about what type of results you'll receive from it. Most often, when you're using these free traffic websites, your goal is to earn points in exchange for views to your perspective website. But you should truly ask yourself: " Have you earn any money from any of the views on a traffic exchange?"The truth is: Traffic exchanges often generates severely low conversion to any affiliate product because most members of TE sites are solely focused on their existing opportunity and getting clicks to their websites. In addition, these sites don't really offer targeted traffic like paid PPC or targeted SEO based ads might, so you're chasing the wind with most of the sites. I'd say the only good thing about traffic exchanges is using them to get clicks to a blog or website for boosting traffic, even if it's in the most plausible way possible. You're better off either buying traffic that's niche specific or organically ranking your site on the search engines.

There is traffic and there is targeted buyer traffic. The focus on the right traffic is necessary for conversion.

Focus on your training!

Are these WA blogs just memories of people’s progress in training? I’m very confused

When I have another day off from work I’m going to do some more training. I’m guessing based on the tone from the last previous comments from you and another wa members comment that these WA blogs are more so places to record progression in our training? Maybe Please Feel free to share what we are supposed to blog about on the WA blogs. I don’t want to do anything that will get me in trouble on this community.

Hi Kyle!

WA blogs are some of the information we can use for our online business! We can also talk about ourselves and our experiences in life.

This is never a place to earn unless you go to Affiliate Bootcamp, Site comments, Site feedback.

Online businesses will be on our own websites.

All the best,

Florentino

Thanks for the input. You see, the thing was: I was going to post what I wrote on my blog but wealthy affiliate told me it was copyright infringement even though I’ve written that entire blog myself LOL. I wanted to leave out all the promotional stuff for wealthy affiliate and just paste the informational stuff about traffic exchanges. That backfired so I linked my website to the blog for people to read the actual article.

I figured since that article was only promoting WA and we’re already members, that it wouldn’t be violating the rules. Next time before I post anything on my blog, relating to Internet marketing and my knowledge of it, I’ll write it here first and then copy and paste it on my blog later which is something I should’ve done the first time around.

:)

Interesting.
Thanks
Joe
