Hi Juniko, I love the niche you picked very interesting and I am sure it has a large following. Personally I like the scrolling blog on the home page that shows readers the latest blog posts. I agree with Vanessa that you need to have reviews on books and so on, not only is it interesting to your readers but content is what Google likes and that is what this game is all about, pleasing Google!
I truly believe you have something with your site and what you have done to date is impressive just look at implementing more content and I think you will be happy with the results if I can help at all don't hesitate to ask, cheers Mike.

Thanks for compliments. Right now it doesn't have much traffic and I am trying to figure out how to move my social networks over to it. Do you know how to put a plugin review on the books in WordPress?

Hi Juniko, on my sites I have a category that is listed as "reviews " which is quite easy to set up on a Wordpress site, on my theme when I am writing a post all I have to do is add a new category such as reviews right then and there. My theme asks if I want to add a new category and if I do I just click the prompt and add what I want. I have numerous categories and when I write a post I assign my posts to the category most relevant. If I write about Internet marketing for example I have set up a Internet Marketing category for any post related to Internet Marketing.
Where you add a category is dependant on the type of theme you have picked but there should be a very simple way to set up categories. I hope that helped, cheers Mike.
Hi Kadoz, checked out your site, love the theme and when I click on the "read more" tab for the books and the movies, my expectation was to actually have more to read, not the just the same few lines.
For example, the book about "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for A Hat", I was really looking forward to reading something more concerning what the book was all about. Something that would peak my interest, so that I would want to buy the book. Same with the movies.
What if you started that particular review with something like " When non-fiction is truly stranger than fiction" do you think that would peak someone's interest? It certainly does mine. Just saying.
Is it that you are now building out content for it?
The pics are a bit convoluted how they've been placed. I clicked on one of the books and it took a while to load. Don't know if it's because I am using a tablet.

I asked Mike and will ask you, too-- how do I put a plugin that links to Amazon reviews for movies and books? Do you think people might like to read the existing reviews or just mine?

Hi Kadoz, I think people would want your take on it. That's actually what I was hoping for when I clicked on the read more tab. Definitely share your unique take on the item.
You can use the existing (Amazon) reviews to supplement or reinforce the information you are sharing in the post, especially if you think it's something that your visitor should invest in.
You can actually use snapshots of reviews and you could also encourage your readers to check out the reviews for themselves as well. You can use your Amazon affiliate link to make it easy for them to access reviews on the product. You won't need a plugin for that.
