Time to Reflect on How Precious Life Is

Life is very precious. We tend to rush through our days, plan more projects than we can finish in a day and forget how important it is to STOP and smell the roses!! I was reminded of this recently when I received some sad news.
My best friend was becoming a grandmother for the first time. The new parents were extremely excited and immediately began a campaign of eating right, resting and reading books on becoming a parent. They even made adjustments in their careers and location to live closer to the family.
This was a joyous time for the whole family. The mother-to-be was dealing with the usual things: weight gain, heart burn and constant kicking from the baby. Plans were being prepared for baby showers, selecting a name and counting down the remaining days.
On Thursday December 5th everyone was doing the final touches for a baby shower with friends and family. The party room had been reserved and the catered food was finalized. A reminder was sent by Facebook on Thursday morning to everyone of the Sunday event.

By 8:30 that night their whole world came crashing down. The text from my friend was a shock, this wasn't real, how could it happen!!! During the parents-to-be routine doctor's examination, they received the horrible news....the baby's heartbeat had stopped. One month from the due date....
I have been doing a lot of reflection about how precious our life is. We are constantly looking for that golden egg, the winning lottery number or the big raise. Or as a WA member wanting to earn that big commission right now.
SLOW DOWN, you are a member of a unique community of friends and supporters. Our lives have not been cut short. You are able to fulfill your dreams. You are right where you want to be....a member of Wealthy Affiliate.
I am fulfilling MY DREAM with the Wealthy Affiliate's program. My days can be hectic, I may spend 8-10 hours working on my website, watching training videos or tutorials, but I always remember to take a moment and appreciate life.
