Made a New Investment
So throughout my two weeks here at WA, I have been using my mobile data to get by. I first joined using my phone. I liked the community and support system, so I took the next step and fixed up my 12 year old laptop.
Just after the one week point, I decided to go premium. Two days later, my 2 year old spilled water on the keyboard. What a bummer! So two days ago I bought a slightly used laptop, determined to keep working. However, the hotspot from my phone is very slow, and I am limited to video classrooms. What a hold back!
Well, I am proud of myself to say, for the first time in my adult life, I purchased an Xfinity Internet plan. They come tomorrow between 12 and 2 to install it. $50.72/month, which now puts me just over $100/ month to be able to take full advantage of the WA system.. But is it worth it?

Thank you LouisaB. It was frustrating at first, but kids are kids. Like I said, it was a very old laptop and it gave me an excuse to buy a newer one, so I wasn't necessarily upset, Lol. I definitely understand what you are dealing with. It's nice to use your mobile still, but it just isn't the same experience.
I found this laptop on craigslist for $100. (Lucky Me) It is pretty old, but it is completely updated with Windows 10 (which I hate), but also has Microsoft office '13, and a business class processor. Not bad of a deal.
If you search hard enough, you can find awesome deals. The web is such a powerful thing! Good luck to you. I'm sure you will soon be back to speed!
John so sorry for your mishap. I guess I can sort of relate to this in some way. Well my old 8 year laptop has practically played out, so as we speak, I am using my mobile phone to connect.
Children will make those mistakes at times, So we still must forgive them and love them. I. Think you did the right thing an investment into a new system. That I must do as well, because you can only do so much on your mobile. Anyway best to your brighter success days ahead.
It's funny you say that. I was never a writer. Not really the type to open up and talk about myself to people I don't know. Ever since I joined here, I felt it super easy to just get out of my comfort zone and start typing. Such a great community, and I love reading other blogs. I'm becoming a blogger myself. WTH! I'm THAT guy! Here we go.
I believe you will be successful on WA. I checked on Fiverr and they got people that will write blogs for a certain amount of money. You can always do a little extra writing to cover your costs.
