When to start advertising your site?

So, when do you starting telling people about your site?
I've been working on mine since I've joined WA and only have the main pages (home, privacy policy, about me) finished along with just five blog posts. I'm not sure if I should start telling people about it now or wait until I have more posts.
The reason I haven't told many people about it yet is because I don't want to discourage visitors by displaying an unfinished site that has very limited posts.
What would you guys suggest? Thanks.
