Still Struggling
I am struggling.
I quit my full-time job at the beginning of the year to concentrate on my business and things were going well. I had developed a routine to make sure that I take care of my family first and then work on my business.
Things were going fine until mid-May onwards. My business was moving but not at the rate that I want. I thought that by going full-time, I can earn a comfortable living, paying off the debts that I owe and help to supplement the family income. I am not even looking at earning hundreds of thousands of dollars. But just good enough to sustain an average lifestyle. Don't get me wrong. I have money coming in but it's not enough.
And I think because of this, I started to get depressed (a little) and everything just went downhill from there. I have been trying to get back to my routine. Some days I am on the roll but there are more days that I am at the valley of the low-low.
Although I am still stuck in this mud, I am hopeful. And I am thankful that I have found WA. The only thing is, I need to be patient to see the earnings coming. I know that this is not an overnight success platform and have been reminding myself to go through the programs that are available and work on my website.
Talking about that, I have to pick up the new book to read and do a review on my site.
Don't worry, I am alright. I am not suicidal (God forbid). I just need to get back my mojo!

Hey Julz, we all have these ups and downs when we question whether it's all worth it. I would just advise you to think about what would happen if you were to quit - how would you feel in a year from now if you still hadn't reached your goals? Would you wish you had stuck at it?
Keep reaching out when you are struggling - there's always someone here to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Be kind to yourself and get plenty of rest and fresh air and know that we're there for you :)
Thanks Jude! Yes, that's the question I kept asking myself. What if I quit and never found out if I would have succeeded in the end.
I wanted to quite almost every other day now. But what kept me going is that as long as one person buys my stuff, I will keep going!

There are times when we go through difficult times and the road ahead seems tough, I did not earn at the point I had planned for either and even now it is getting my income more regular, there are ways to earn online to help shore you up a bit till it is as you planned for. Be encouraged Julz, your breakthrough might be very close; so hold your nerve and hang in there. Try and replace those bad thoughts with thoughts of success, you can do it.

Thanks for being so transparent Julz. I'm sure many of us can relate. Be encouraged and just keep moving. Since you mentioned reading a book if you haven't read The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson I think you will find in very helpful and inspiring for what we are doing here at WA.
