A Success of a Different Kind
April 23 2010
Wow -- what a week. I have to say -- since joining WA and seeing definitively what I want to do -- I have been so inspired that working hard is so much easier. Some of what I have been working on has got to do with thinking outside the box re dealing with my banking situation.
Something about being here is sharpening me. I managed through sheer luck and perseverance to get a package detailing the injustices done to me by my bank to the Consumer Advocate in the Office of the President of BofA. Wish me luck -- I already feel fantastic, as this guy's job, so says he, is to help people and he loves his work!
So - I love twitter. I like mouthing off about politics and what is bothering me in the world, and I find that it's a great way of collecting my thoughts, literally. There they all are, ready to be woven into the kind of article that appeals to politicos -- they are still around! They buy things too!
I've also been getting more Sponsored Tweet requests, and I think it's a great exercise -- learning how to sculpt tweets so as to make them teeny ads for things you like -- and being paid for it. I'm collecting these sites now and making these ads plus growing my twitter audience on 3 accts.
The sense of support here has already made a difference to me, and I don't think it's my imagination. And I love having a place I can jot everything down and put my goals into focus, break down the tasks -- I haven't taken the 8 step course yet but I'm really happy about the way things are going.
That's next on my list -- well, after making that first squid lens -- I've been over at FB publishing my page for Patrick's art -- which are going to be lenses for squidoo -- his beautiful paintings I mean. I think this will be an interesting experiment in art marketing. The cool thing is I am working harder than ever and with passion -- boy I love it, I really do.
