So I have been hard at work for the last two days working on my first blog post-2000 words to be precise. I was so confident that the content was 100% original, so you can i

The Google algorithms understand common phrases. Those won't hurt you. Go for it!

3% isn't going to make much difference, I use a certain amount of sentences for every single post and I haven't had any problems.

i think the figure is 80% original.
this allows quotes and overspill for similar content.
so don't worry about a small percentage.
remember if you do quote to include a link to the original - or add it as an image.
good luck

Thanks so much, Feigner- much appreciated .. This info is so helpful...Good to know Google does leave a bit of leeway and understandably so ...

In my view, it is better posting content that is 100% plagiarism free if you can! The common day-to-day phrases can be fine tuned and still maintain the message.

Thanks, Ahimbe... I agree, better to be safe than sorry .. I was planning on re-editing anyway , but would be good to know in case one ever slips through...

Do not worry.

It is my (limited) estimation that your work will be of value to those that read it.

Perhaps you have used some (very common) troupe or cliche phrases within your post.

This is the nature of human discourse.

"There is nothing new under the sun"

Was this not mentioned in both the the New Testament and by Shakespeare?"

Show me the man or woman who has created original content, and I'll give you an award, for it is nearly impossible.

Did not both Liebnitze and Newton re-create the integral calculus first "discovered" by the Greek Archimedes?

How often is "knowledge" rediscovered by the generations asceeding it's "creation"?

Will the algorithm of Google punish you?

I do not know the exact meteoric used by their machine learning, but I suspect you will be okay.

If I am wrong, them blame me.

If not, then be okay with your works, for I doubt they are true "Plagiarist" material!

Haha

How would one define that in the current world without a certainty greater than 53%?

It is not a trivial question!

What is "100%" origional?

Nothing lol

It could be predicted with mathematical certainty, but it is late and I am tired.

I doubt you have will be guilty of such.

Continue with your great work.

You are clearly a hard worker!

Thanks for giving me a good laugh... Unfortunately, Google is the all knowing big chief who monitors this big village called the
" World Wide Web" and in order to be rewarded, I know I need to suck up to him !!

Interesting thoughts. I could argue about some. Scientific works must be original to be published, after having a few hundreds of them I should know this. This is the nature of science, it may develop in small steps but this is always a progress and you always have something new.

Of course you can always publish something that is not original, just a bit of lack and stupid or ill-informed referees and the job is done. But it is not in your interest to be ridiculed later when people publish comments on your work. Science has its internal self-correcting mechanism.

Newton was a nasty person, in spite of everything he did in science. He established a committee with his friends as members to confirm that he was the one who invented the infinitesimal calculus. But this was pointless as you know.

But you are right in some aspects. Copernicus just stole the idea of Aristarchus which was known for more than 1700 years. As a priest and staying a year at the Vatican, he had access to the Vatican Library where he found originals. Even in his own manuscupt of heliocentric theory there is the name of the original author, but then he crossed it (I have the copy) and the book was published as his own invention and this is how it is presented in schools.

But this is not related to SEO and Google. Regarding Google, they know that up to a quarter of text is duplicate of various kinds, and they ignore this. Important is what you present as a new text.

I am smarter than 98% of the population (if "standardized" tests are to be believed, and excluding my numerous learning disabilities haha)...

But I am no God, and Google has over 2,000 engineers, mathematical physicists (used in "modern" models of economics [as opposed to biologists, look it up if you want haha], and mathematicians working for them.

You, I, and a majority of the members of this site, pale in comparison to the intellectual might of the great Google (as you have already stated in your comment!).

I'm glad you laughed, I love to laugh myself.

Still, continue your great work!

Suck up if you must! (I know I do, haha).

You will emerge the "great chief" of your village should you do so effectively!

I suspect you will!

I know I will be the chief of my village!

Good luck to you, my friend! /

:-)

Thanks for the random facts I didn't really need to know but you told me anyway ....hahaha ... Anyway, lucky I read through as I found my answer waiting in the last paragraph... Grateful!

Haha!

You are well read, my friend!

I do not wish to debate the subject of Newton, for both he and Leibniz are not (to my reckoning) the originators of either differential of integral recursive arithmetic!

That is the domain of both the Greeks and Hindus!

"How is this related to "SEO" or "Search Engine Optimization" related tasks you may ask (I suspect you would not ask this question, but I'll level it for the sake of "argument")?

Well, are we not all seeking the "maxima" and "minima" of "peaks" and "valleys" within a particular niche?

Haha

and have we not both perverted the purpose of a post meant only to put forth the virtue of hard work and dedication?

Julie is the hero of this story, for she has done what is necessary to create the great works that will elevate her above her peers to a level of both "CEO" and "entrepreneur" which we all wish to attain?

She is the hero here, not us!

haha

Still, thank you for your post, my friend, I appreciate it!

Random facts are some of my favorites! lol

Anyways, I mean it.

I'm sure you'll do great!

You know what separates those who succeed from those who do not?

One word:

Dedication.

1 year, 30 articles, 45,000 words.

That is all that stands between you and $500 - $1,000 a month in (semi) passive income.

It is up to you whether or not you pursue it.

Yes, the competition in your niche and a few other factors are important, but those are small obstacles in your way to living a life you dictate for yourself.

I am sure you can do it!

How long does it take to write an article?

about 1 hour, if you're quick, and well researched (including pictures).

That is 1,800 hours in the next year.

That is 4.8% of the next year of your life.

I know you can do it!

As an elderly person, I talk too much, this is usual for weak people (old guys and kids talk too much - I am just paraphrasing a Nobelist writer).

But seriously, there is a statement of a Google's representative which says as I mentioned in my first boring reply.

Hi , does anyone know if QSR numbers in Jaxxy are supposed to load automatically ? At the moment , I am having to click to load for each individual keyword which is a lot

This link can give you an understanding between all the Jaaxy versions
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jaaxy

Hi Julie

Jaaxy for starters, Lite and Pro are not automated, You need to click the QSR then it will show the results.

You may have been watching Kyle's training on Jaaxy he has the Enterprise version which populates automatically.

Besides it is not hard work and you don't have to wait for each one to load before you click the next one. Just click each QST and as you do the others will load up while still click other QST

Hope that helps

Andre

Yes , just from watching Kyle's video and I thought I was on the wrong settings hence why mine were not populating automatically, but thanks for clarifying - I appreciate it ..

You are welcome and clicking is not hard work at all. The hard work comes with the effort you put into your website as you continue forward toward success.
Wishing you well
Andre
