It's Not Always Easy and I LOVE IT!
There are many great things about being an entrepreneur as there are hardships. People ask me, "Julian, why are you always working don't you have a schedule"? The answer is simply yes, mine is just very different from yours! You see, most have a nine to five with weekends off. They go out to dinners with friends some evenings and tuck their little ones into bed every night. They got married after college and embarked on a corporate journey that led them to ask me these questions today. To them this life seems exhilarating and "normal". To me, that life is DEATH! There is NOTHING wrong with being an employee for some yet I can't and won't do it! I don't have weekends off. I forgot whom my friends are because I don't see them often. I work eighteen hour days seven days a week. My fiance isn't always happy with me. My job pays well sometimes yet if I don't stay ahead of the curve we don't eat. I fail time after time and look forward to it. I love this life. I love being an entrepreneur! I would rather work five times as hard and work for myself instead of working less and being paid more working for someone else. That's just me!
Why!?
If I told you that I didn't always ask myself why in the past I would be lying. Dishonesty, especially from myself, I cannot tolerate. As human beings, It's quite natural to second guess ourselves. When we see everyone doing the same things in society we tend to do the same. I've done the nine to five. I went to school and finished it. I went to work, came home, ate dinner, showered, watch television and went to sleep. As I was living "normally", I asked myself something very important. I asked, "If I see everyone doing this and this is the right thing to do then why do I feel like I'm meant to do more!?" I asked myself why I felt like I was gonna die if I had to put up with another day of never ending, hopeless, boring and unmotivated routine! I soon found the answer that led me to starting my own company. This is AFTER I got sober of course. The answer was I wasn't comfortable being an employee when in reality I thought like an entrepreneur! As I looked into this I found that there are many people who feel this way and MOST of them are entrepreneurs! So I wasn't crazy after all! I needed a change like most of us that feel this way need. After I had rid myself of unwanted company and distractions I went to the whiteboard and built my advertising agency. It was not without difficult yet after working day and night for what seemed like forever I had finally built a successful business! Also, it NEVER felt like work because I loved what I was doing. It was more like I was getting paid to play! If you don't enjoy what you're doing than why do it? We only have one shot at this thing called life and I'll be damned if I'm not going to live my best one on my terms! In light of this I wrote a book.

I have read a lot of books in my life. Books about entrepreneurs, business, life and everything in between. It astonished me to find that most of these books are based on opinion and not fact. Also, if someone writes it whom is successful they tell you what to do to get there but do they tell you exactly how!? No, they do not! So I decided to share a story not only filled with experiences and opinions but also with stone-cold facts! I explain what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur, the mindset you will need to not think like an employee any longer, how you're going to fail and what to do when S&$T hits the fan! It will and when it does then what!? I will be releasing the book on April 15th 2020 and I hope to share it with the world. I’ll never work for anyone ever again! Never ever, EVER again! That’s not just a feeling, that my friend is a feeling I made into a reality. Long story short, I grew up in the surrounding suburbs of Detroit. As a child I would dream of going to college, graduating and becoming a police officer. Then, I would get married, purchase a house, have some kids and “enjoy life”. Even at eight years old I somehow knew that’s what I would do. It seemed so normal so it had to be the right thing, right? You see, we live in a society that is broken. To me, the traditional “American Dream” is a F$&@ing joke! We go though at least twelve years of school. Some of us, years more of practiced higher education under our belts and somehow we still don’t know anything about money! What has school taught you about the market? What has it taught you about money? Has the teacher told you the difference between assets and liabilities? What is an asset and a liability? What can you do to secure a future for you and you're family once you become an adult? The answer is so simple it’s disgusting, YOU CAN’T! If you grew up like 99% of all Americans you have been raised in a society that was created for you to fail! FAIL FAIL FAIL! Don’t sit there and tell me “we’ll that’s what everyone does”. Yes they do and that’s why 99% of them are broke, dying and starving on the never ending hamster wheel of fallacy’s. You’re here with me to break the cycle of bullshit right? So let’s do it! You're about to go on a journey that will change you forever. You’re about to fire you're boss and become you're own boss, an entrepreneur. Are you ready to fail? Are you ready to sacrifice you're life to you're work? Are you willing to leave you're spouse or throw anyone out of you're life that doesn’t share you're vision or aspirations!? These are the real questions you must ask yourself. For me, there is no such thing as a plan B. If you have a plan B then you have already made up you're mind that you will fail horribly and have given up on plan A before you even begun! This is part of the mindset we will discuss that you’ll need. If you don’t want to be an employee you must stop thinking like one! Once we start we do not stop or give up our business goals no matter what! Let’s go!
