Setbacks Are Can Be Setups For Success
Set backs can be setups for success. Sounds funny but it's absolutely the truth in my life. Essentially, a setback means a check to progress, a reverse or defeat. In other words when we cease to achieve our desires for success, accomplish our goals and plans we set for our lives, for a myriad of reasons we can identify as the causes to our effects, these are setbacks.
I have learned that setbacks are a blessing in disguise. Don't seem like it is in the present, but in hindsight, i wouldn't be the person i am today without any checks to my progress. Now, not all setbacks are a blessing to you if you don't learn from your failures, and mistakes. If you allow your setback to keep you setback, then that means you let that set back win and as a result you failed.
Setbacks doesn't means you are a failure or that you've failed at your plan for your life. It simply means you went about it the wrong way, now you need to critique your craft, try a new approach, learn a new skill, develop a new goal, revisit and study your vision. My mother has always told me my setback is a setup for my greatness. So whenever i am faced with a setback, i see it as a setup for my greatness.
I love this quote by Denis Waitley that said "Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker, failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing." Essentially, let your setback be your schoolmaster. Get better at what you need to get better at. If you can, success is around your corner and it's a guarantee. It takes persistence, consistency, and discipline to obtain what you want in life. It won't be handed to you, you have to take it with your action.
In conclusion, study the successful and you will see they all experienced minor setbacks. Those who let setbacks keep them down in life have never lived the life they were created to live and those who overcame and conquered setbacks have went on to great success. I have witnessed setbacks, that put me behind in business, in life, in relationships, in my goals for years. I was robbed of my success. I didn't redeem the time. I have seen others have setbacks and never recover from it and some handle it beautifully and come out on top. Let's come out on top every time and if we do and use our setbacks as setups for our success, you and i will be an unstoppable force, chasing Greatness!
