Todays log
Starting lesson 10 tomorrow. I managed 6 hours and 10min today. Not as productive as i wanted it to be. During the category choosing and looking at similar sites I lost time, but got a lot of information. Sometimes it's difficult for me to attribute indirect task like research with productivity if there is no immediate pay off.
Plus when i was creating my about me page i flopped. I was trying to connect and it's boring. It doesn't pull in like i wanted it to. I left it alone for now because i remembered how a bad habit in the past (picky and perfection) kept me from doing a lot.
No doubt i want to do great, but i often forget how many millions of dollars McDonald and Burger-King makes despite the frequent cold frys, stale chicken sandwiches, or extra large 'wrong drinks' at the drive through. Perfection is great but not necessary for success.
I also was a little lost on the keywords since I have not upgraded yet, I had no access to QSR. I will be upgrading here. I'm still checking out what i'm going to do for keyword research.

Hi, JT, I think you hit the nail with the big hammer when you talked about picky and perfection. When doing something new we tend to compare ourselves with the all stars because we want to do as well as they do. We have to remember that they didn't start there. I am sure they have some things hidden in the closet from their first efforts that they do not want anyone to see. Put something out there! You can always hit delete later and do it over once you have improved. But we must begin somewhere. If I can help let me know.
