Hi all, pretty straight forward Q:

Is it possible to create a website then just change the domain later? (obviously assuming the new one is not taken)

I know we can

You can also at a later date, buy similar domain names and redirect them to the site you are building.. know several people with celiacs.... they agree, it sucks... many have found tons of recipes and diet changes they like though. Hope you find the help you need here. We are going in to our 3rd week of being involved here, and find plenty of people willing to help. Hope you do as well. Best of luck.

After you become a premium member and buy your own domain name WA Website Support will move your existing site to your new domain.

Thanks for your speedy response, MarionBlack!

So just to confirm then I can chose any domain at that time (as long as it's available) and it doesn't have to be just removing the siterubix part, then becoming "gf.celiac .com"?

Exactly. You can have celiac.siterubix.com and change it to glutenfree.com (if it's available).

Good to know, thanks Marion!

On that note, when going Premium. Does WA provide any websites without sitebubix for "free" then, or do we have to pay separately for our own domain with out siterubix?

You can buy your domain name right here Your hosting is covered by your premium membership.

What are the major differences between managing websites as Admin or Author and which is preferred?

Please advice a newbie here.

Thanks!

I changed mine from Admin to Author as I think putting a name there is much more personal for the reader.

Thank you both, any other comments still welcome!

If an author is also an admin, there is only one difference: when you reply the comments. People love a name not just Admin.

An Author can only add posts and pages but an Admin has full control of the site.
