Don’t Get Overwhelmed

It has been a tough old week. Been incredibly busy at work, son’s parents evening, kids awards evening at school, organising maintenance work to the house. Just dealing with the day-to-day rituals of life.

Then I have the feelings of guilt and frustration that I have managed to do very little work, in regards to the business. So much work I know I need to do with my website, but feeling drained to be able to do any of it.

I am sure, many people have been there themselves and can connect with my feelings.

I am so determined to want to build the business and to see things really start to take off. But it is clear that success and progress does take time. Especially when you are juggling so many responsibilities. I don’t want to build this business and neglect spending quality time with my family and fulfilling my duties as parent and husband.

I have been reflecting today and we need to pace ourselves. Success does take time. I am just going to do what I can do and not allow myself to become stressed out or frustrated.

I have set my short-term goals and I will go again tomorrow. I am not going to give up. Building an online business takes a lot of hard work, real determination and resilience.
