Don’t Get Overwhelmed

Last Update: June 21, 2019

It has been a tough old week. Been incredibly busy at work, son’s parents evening, kids awards evening at school, organising maintenance work to the house. Just dealing with the day-to-day rituals of life.

Then I have the feelings of guilt and frustration that I have managed to do very little work, in regards to the business. So much work I know I need to do with my website, but feeling drained to be able to do any of it.

I am sure, many people have been there themselves and can connect with my feelings.

I am so determined to want to build the business and to see things really start to take off. But it is clear that success and progress does take time. Especially when you are juggling so many responsibilities. I don’t want to build this business and neglect spending quality time with my family and fulfilling my duties as parent and husband.

I have been reflecting today and we need to pace ourselves. Success does take time. I am just going to do what I can do and not allow myself to become stressed out or frustrated.

I have set my short-term goals and I will go again tomorrow. I am not going to give up. Building an online business takes a lot of hard work, real determination and resilience.

Feel so much better, writing this short post!!

Thanks for reading. I wish you all continued success.

Balancing work and life is all working online is about. Don't feel guilt and don't relax too much either. Try to strike a balance which is good for you. We all feel overwhelmed sometimes. Maybe sometimes, you need to get away from it all. Then you will come back refreshed.

Good luck my friend.

I know the feeling well. Don’t give up though, keep building in the time you do have and eventually you will be glad you did. Good luck.

I know exactly what you mean and even if you think that you have time to dedicate something else comes up what is always more important and urgent... frustration ! BUT I am trying and in between the "normal madness" I find time for my websites, pinterest, facebook and online shop.. all in the name of a better future and in the hope to make money from this!

Don't give up and keep going!
That's what I do every day!

GOOD LUCK !

Thank you for your encouragement.

The easiest thing is to walk away. But if you really want to achieve success, then you can’t give up.

I have felt the same this week, with 2 jobs, 2 children, running a house. There has been very little time and I have not posted to my website in 5 days! Whereas I was trying to do every other.

I have just had to admit I am only human, there is only 24 hours in each day. Remember the foundations you gave already built on your website are all there working and standing strong 💪🏻.

I have decided not to put myself under any pressure and just work, when I can!

Sending you lots of support and understanding

Thank you Jules for sharing your day here. I get the same way fitting everything in. Patience you have under control I think. I must use the same strategy.

I do get inpatient for success, but I am learning not to be.

It is a long road to building a business, so we need to take our time and enjoy the ride!
